Carlo's Garage Winery

We are located in the heart of Pittsburgh’s historic Strip District and this is Carlo’s Garage. Wine has been made in this garage since prohibition with all the tricks of the trade being passed along from generation to generation. The six of us: Larry, Maureen, Sharon, Jordan, Albert, & Vera have decided that enough is enough! The spirit that drove the old winemakers is the same spirit that drives us today. We are tired of keeping everything to ourselves and we want to share our bounty with the people of Pittsburgh!

So here it is, “Carlo’s Garage Winery,” the City of Pittsburgh’s first urban winery.

We create our wine with the best ingredients available and are proud to be Pittsburgh’s first urban winery. We hope you enjoy experiencing the wine as much as we enjoyed creating it. Salute!
